Hello, there! I am so excited that you are here and I can’t wait to be friends! But first let me introduce myself my name is Kasey Elizabeth Dean, but I sign all my writing KE because I found out a porn star has my name! I figured that may be a little confusing if I were googled so I cut myself down to initials.
Here is the quick stuff: I love no make up Mondays, sweat pants, and my fur babies. My favorite things are pasta, books, and Chip and Joanna Gaines. I like French Country Cottage and Farm house decor, I prefer the country over big cities, and by genetic default I am a Red Skins fan. My favorite quote is from CS Lewis “You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.” That is basically my Life motto. Personally I am a combination of crazy hair, fuzzy near sightedness, chubby jiggles, and belly laughs. But above all I have a heart that yearns for Jesus, although I fail Him continually.
Now that the quick stuff is done here is the story of how I got here, well the story so far anyway. But if you are good with just the quick stuff I would love for you to check out the Welcome page and learn more about The Labeless itself, if you are up to it please continue I promise it won’t take long!
I am an only child, born and raised an Army Brat, and very close with my parents who have been the solid rock in which I have clung to all my life. After surviving a few horrible years of college transition, an abusive relationship, and friendships that hurt instead of healed I ended up finding Christ in the center of my storm. To my great delight God had been working on both my parents, and we reclaimed the love of our savior at the same time! How cool right?
After graduating college with a bachelors degree in creative writing I ended up getting a job as a nurse aide in a small retirement facility in Upstate New York. The two years I worked there was such a blessing as my faith and compassion grew exponentially as I cared for those who were leaving this life and going on to the next.
In 2013 my parents approached me about moving with them to Florida, they felt God was calling them to be closer to my grandmother. I promptly agreed, who says no to Florida? There I worked for Disney and then later for a retirement community all the while helping my parents take care of my grandmother, who in 2014 to 2015 went through series of health issues that ended up causing her to move in with us so that we could take over her care full-time.
In 2016 we felt, as an entire family, that God was calling us west within six months our Florida house was sold and we were off to start the 2017 year in East Texas. That is were we are now finding our way in the adventure of a new place, knowing no one, and building a life.
It is with great delight and responsibility that I have taken the 2017 year off to pursue my goals as an entrepreneur and writer. I did not make this decision lightly and, with many family discussions and later blessings, I saved enough money to cover my bills and extras for an entire year. I have joined an online entrepreneurial business class, gotten serious about blogging, and am working on my first Young adult novel series that will hopefully bring the truth of scripture to its readers in a fun, magically fantastic fantasy.
Thank you for joining me on this adventure of bold obedience and it is my hope that we both continue on the journey of dreamers to doers as fast friends!
Love and blessings,
